The Elephant Dress
What small child won’t look adorable climbing the steps or sliding down the slide in this A-line dress adorned with elephants and lions? It’s short and sweet and slips over the head—and looks especially cute as a tunic with leggings. The polka-dotted band at the bottom is fully doubled and edged with another row of braid on the inside so it can easily be let down as the child grows.
Kids grow fast, so our dresses are designed to last and be worn for more than one season. This dress grows a different way: there’s hand-stitched hemstitching on the inside that can be removed to lengthen the dress by two to four inches, depending on size. I never know the details until I start designing, experimenting, and putting a dress together. This one gets lots of kudos from our fans.
