The Cherry Dress
What’s sweeter than a bowl of fresh cherries? The little girl who wears this dress of cherry-print batik with a traditional geometric border at the hemline. The fully-lined bodice with wide straps that button in front is fashioned in a tiny floral print, and so is the roomy pocket. The full skirt is pleated in front, gathered in back.
What special treasure did MeiMei put in her pocket? It looks like a tamarillo, a tropical fruit she picked from a tree in her family’s garden in Canggu, Bali. What flavor would you like? Blue cherries on light pink or dark pink cherries on white? The fabric selection in Bali may vary a bit from season to season.
